I'm 5"9" and 175lbs and the large was a good fit for me. The material is not as heavy as I expected based on the photos but it is not flimsy. It is well constructed with a nice liner. For the money it is a really nice item. I have nicer vests but then they cost several times what this one did. Overall, I am very happy with it.
